Guess What Happened Last Sunday?

My best friend and I were wandering in a mall last Sunday when we accidentally saw my ex-boyfriend. Gosh, I can’t believe what we saw– and I can’t believe it’s really him! The last time I saw him was the time when we broke up for some silly misunderstanding. We became an item since we were in third year high school. After we had a conflict, we lost our communication and never had a chance to talk since then because we had enrolled in different universities.

Along with my ex-boyfriend was a pregnant girl (I think, she’s younger than me). Actually, it’s not the girl that surprised me, but it’s her pregnancy. I know he now has a new loved one, but I never thought that he would be a father soon. They looked so happy and excited while roaming around the baby clothing section of the mall.

Actually, I was so hurt when we broke up because he didn’t even make a move to patch up things between us. But when I saw him with his new-found love, I felt happy for them and finally realized I should also start moving on with my own life. Perhaps, we’re not just meant to be. I know it may take time before I could move on and find another love, but at least, I now have a clear plan: to enjoy life to the fullest.
